Aims of our campaign

Our campaign follows the recent National Audit Office report which demonstrated that the millions of people with neurological conditions are being let down by services. We are aiming to secure a government commitment to improving care and support through the implementation of a new national strategy for neurology.

What we are asking members of the Neurological Alliance to do

We are asking all members to raise awareness and support this campaign by signing up to our e-action.

In order to make sure our campaign has maximum impact, we need as many signatories as possible. Please pass on details of this e-action to your colleagues, supporters, families and friends.

What does the e-action involve?

The e-action works by asking you to enter your contact details and, if you wish, a personal message, which will then be integrated into a pre-prepared letter that is automatically sent to your local MP. The letter asks MPs to:

•    Sign an Early Day Motion calling for a national strategy for neurology

•    Write to the Secretary of State for Health to ask how he will respond to the issues highlighted in the National Audit Office report
