Northern Neurological Alliance: Aims and Objectives
Some of the key aims and objectives of the NNA include:

- Raising public awareness and understanding of neurological
conditions and their impact
- Informing and influencing policy makers about the needs of
people with neurological conditions
- Securing the highest standards of service and improved care for
people with neurological conditions by promoting the standards of
care published by the Neurological Alliance
- Promoting a co-ordinated multidisciplinary approach to all
neurological conditions with regards to acute care, assessments,
diagnosis and, if appropriate, rehabilitation (including therapies)
and return to the community
- Acting, as appropriate, on behalf of anyone, of whatever age,
who is affected by a neurological condition for which there are no
relevant support groups
