Aims

TVDNY: Aims and Objectives

To relieve and support any person with or carer of a neurological condition in the area covered by the Tees Valley, Durham and North Yorkshire

We will:

• Collate, update or disseminate information to increase the capacity and skills of anyone with a neurological condition
• Encourage and promote understanding of neurological need to service commissioners or providers in Tees Valley, Durham and North Yorkshire
• Provide a forum in the Tees Valley, Durham and North Yorkshire for exchange of information, skill or expertise on neurological need, and models of best practice in neurological care
• Create effective mechanisms to improve the quality and equality of patient experience
• Act as appropriate on behalf of any individual, family or carer in the Tees Valley, Durham and North Yorkshire who may be affected by a neurological condition for which there is no relevant local support group
