Hunters Moor Neurorehabilitation Ltd services provides community therapy in the North East for those with a neurological disability. We provide physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, speech therapy and clinical psychology as well as medical and nursing input.The therapy is in the person's own home and can be for as long as needed as long as progress is being made.
Hunters Moor Residential Services Ltd provides neurobehavioural rehabilitation for those with challenging behaviour, usually after brain injury. This is currently in our 10 bed unit in Birmingham (Olive Carter unit). This unit is registered to admit detained patients under the Mental Health Act.
The main unit in Birmingham (Janet Barnes unit - 35 beds) will be opened in November 2010 and provides full multi-disciplinary neurorehabilitation for those with any neurological problem. We will mainly see people after traumatic brain injury but are open to referral for clients with any sort of brain or spine injury
